Well, back here in California, I had to skip out on Friday morning's practice due to a life insurance checkup, but I was aching to get back in the water on Saturday. The sun was bright at 7:30 and HOT. It is air-conditioning weather.
It was a great little swim at Soka University:
300 yd warmup
12 x 100 yds on 1:30 (1-4 descending swim, 5-8 descending buoy, 9-12 descending pull gear)
Broken 1650 on :15 rest (275, 250, 225, 200, 175, 150, 125, 100, 75, 50, 25)
8 x 50 kick on 1:00
8 x 75 backstroke (1-4 & 5-8 descending)
10 x 25 yd butterfly sprint
200 yard warmdown
= 4,600 yards
