I drove with my family from Orange County to Denver over the weekend. A thousand miles of sitting and eating fast food and snacks without exercise allowed me to become noticeably "thicker" (6-8 pounds) in just a few days. My pants were a little tight and I was anxious to get back in the pool. I could feel the difference that the extra weight, lack of exercise and lack of sleep had made since Friday.
